Okay, let's do it.

Whoopie.

Go, baby, go.

(funky music)

I don't understand, nobody's driving.

How does it know where to go?

It's making unusual noises.

They're cute

I like the noises this car makes. (imitates car noises)

Like ducks quacking

Like squirrels

(imitates car noises)

(imitates car noises)

Why did it just stop then?

It stops, right?

Well, it's stopping for people and I think that's great.

Okay, right now we're stopped

because there's a mob of students coming back and forth

and they're not getting out of our way

because they think we're stopped.

Can I give you a ride in the back

of this car for just a few minutes?

Sure

Who do you think you would trust more?

Don driving the car or the computer driving the car?

I don't know. I feel like you're really trustworthy,

but this car, it stops at everything.

This is actually my class. Thank you so much.

Thank you.

See ya.

I haven't lost my touch.

What part do you think the car played in that?

A hundred percent.

So what sort of things can you do in a car

if you don't have to be driving?

Maybe you could use your cell phone if you wanted to.

That's a danger right now, isn't it?

I'm not a texter but I would text.

Hey, if you were single and had a girl with you,

your hands would be free.

Think about it.

What was the first car either of you owned?

Mine was a Plymouth sedan.

My first car was the car that I stole from my father.

A Ford V8 fur-lined convertible.

It was so cool.

The 1967 Buick Skylark.

[Passenger] So how is this car different?

Well, I had to drive it.

There were no seat belts invented yet.

That was the dark ages.

Didn't have seat belts. That wasn't a thing then.

This reminds me of the cartoons of Aladdin

on his magic carpet.

This reminds me of one of my dreams come true,

to be a part of the outer space program.

My son's gonna make me buy one, I think.

'Cause he won't let me drive anymore.

[Elder] We survived.

[Passenger] Was there ever a doubt

that you weren't gonna make it?

Several times.

Before we got here

What if it decided to drive off the end of the pier?

[Passenger] We didn't hit anyone all day.

That's great. You can let the squirrels out now.
