WIRED2017: Next Generation Speakers

Innovators, disruptors and leaders will share their insights and experiences at WIRED Next Generation to inspire youths aged 12- to 18 at Tobacco Dock in London.

From the polar scientist preparing humans to live in outer space to the youngest venture capitalist, we're excited to present the speakers for WIRED Next Generation, taking place in London on November 4, 2017.

Silas Adekunle

Co-founder and CEO, Reach Robotics

Born in Nigeria and raised in the UK, Adekunle blends biology, video games and robotics with Reach Robotics. His MekaMon gaming platform combines advanced robots with video games via augmented-reality gameplay, controlled by smartphone.

Maggie Aderin-Pocock

Space scientist

Maggie Aderin-Pocock, MBE is a space scientist who has worked on many out-of-this-world projects. She is also a popular science communicator and is perhaps best-known for presenting astronomy show The Sky at Night.
