Just days after the video of Tupac's "holographic" projection performing with Snoop Dogg at Coachella went viral, Reddit has given birth to a fresh meme. One depicting The Doggfather in scientific diagrams as an integral cog in the workings of everything from the Millenium Falcon to the human leg.
According to MusicAlly's newsletter, the seeds of the meme were sown when the International Business Times published a diagram of how the Coachella performance worked -- with a 2D illustration of Snoop Dogg performing behind a transparent foil in the picture. When the diagram hit Reddit, a user called 'Cabbit' commented: "All technical diagrams should be amended to include Snoop Dogg."
The internet responded with a definitive "fo' shizzle".
Over the next ten hours, images of Snoop -- aka Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. -- revealed the rapper to be an important input in the
food chain of coral reefs, the main ingrediant of a sausage-based snack, and a component on the supersonic jet Blackbird.
Notable ommissions currently include Snoop Dogg's involvement in the workings of hydroponic lighting, the onset of chronic arthritis and, of course, house slipper production lines. Someone should do something about that.
