This summer, Rapha will make its professional-quality riding apparel available for would-be Froomes to create their own bespoke designs. The London-based company has teamed up with luxury custom-clothing manufacturer Unmade – create your pixel-perfect garments online, and they will be printed on demand and delivered within six weeks.
A collection of 24 items can be remixed using a templated set of graphics, patterns and colourways, so you won’t need a degree in design to concoct your own stylish piece of kit. And if you’re worried how your bespoke item might look in the flesh? A computer-generated preview of your masterpiece, wrapped on to an image of a rider, will help you visualise exactly what your finished garment will look like before you click “buy”.
