Black Friday has arrived and discounts on a wide range of tech and gadgetry are now live. The WIRED team has sought out the top true savings on quality products. Here’s the best Black Friday deals.
Acer Chromebook 14 for £200
What is it? Our current best laptop under £500, the portable and intuitive Acer Chromebook 14 CB3-431, is now slightly cheaper. It runs Chrome OS, has a 14-inch Full HD display, great 12 hour battery life and 4GB of memory.
How much are you saving? You can pick up an Acer Chromebook 14 for £200 from Argos versus £230 or £250 elsewhere online. It's recently been on sale for £280-£300 so this is a good deal.
£90 off an iPad Pro 10.5
What is it? Argos is currently running discounts on older models of iPhones and iPads. So you can get £50 off a last gen iPad or £90 off depending on what storage you choose.
How much are you saving? The 256GB iPad Pro 10.5 (originally released in 2017) is down from £769 to £679 or it's £649 on Amazon. And the iPad Pro 10.5 in 64GB is down from £619 to £529.
£100 off LG's SK10Y soundbar
What is it? The LG SK10Y is our best soundbar under £750 thanks to its stylish design and dynamic sound. The soundbar and subwoofer system sounds better than anything else you can get at this price with excellent bass and Dolby Atmos support.
How much are you saving? This LG soundbar has been selling (and is still selling) for £749 - originally it was priced at £1,200. At John Lewis, it's now down to £649.
Jabra Elite 65t for £125
What is it? Our favourite wireless earbuds - yes, better than the AirPods 2 - are being touted as discounted in a few Bank Holiday sales. The lowest price for the truly wireless buds, which have Alexa built-in, excellent battery life and stable connection, is on Amazon.
How much are you saving? The best price we've seen is £125 on Amazon. Currys also has the Jabra's for £149.
Philips 50-inch 4K TV for £379
What is it? It didn't quite make it into our best TVs buying guide, but the Philips 50-inch PUS6703 4K TV is well-reviewed and down to £379 at both Argos and Currys.
How much are you saving? This 50-inch TV was originally £599, though it has recently sold online for as low as £399.
