Laser light headphones pulse to your heartbeat

These Tron-like headphones aren't like your average earbuds. Instead they're packed with specially designed wires that diffuse light from a laser. The vibrant light can pulse either to the sound of your favourite music, or to your heartbeat. So get ready to start rocking.

Coming in a range of shimmering red, blue or green, Glow, takes the expressive medium of music and syncs it with light to enhance the experience. A Kickstarter campaign for the headphones has already smashed its $100,000 (£66,600) target with 38 days still remaining till the deadline.

Glow is integrated with Android and lets users have access to a range of features on their phone using a five-way controller -- it can be used to select incoming messages, take photographs remotely with your phone. You can also trigger Google Now, which lets you use voice actions to control your phone.

But these headphones don't just stop at being expressive, the creators assert that the embedded sound system's a blast too.

The "negative profile" means the earbuds sit perfectly in your ear's recesses, letting you nap comfortably with your headphones on. An "angled in-ear design" also minimises the external interferences of the sound, leading to a more crisp bass noise.

Along with the enhanced musical experience, the integrated heart rate sensor syncs with the light, letting users see how fast their heart is beating.
