WIRED has teamed up with Jobbio to launch WIRED Hired, a dedicated career marketplace for WIRED readers.
Greg Williams, editor of WIRED says the partnership can have a positive impact on the current UK skills shortage, which is one of the biggest challenges faced by the tech industry today.
“Our dynamic, ambitious readers are interested in shaping the world and put a high value on how they can progress in their careers. If you have a fast-growth business, WIRED Hired is a great way to reach top global talent. If you're a reader looking for the next step in your career, we can connect you to some of the most ambitious companies in the world," he said.
There are 6,000 companies currently hiring on Jobbio including Slack, Airbnb and Groupon. Jobbio CEO, Stephen Quinn, says the partnership offers a unique opportunity for companies to promote their employer brand to quality talent in a meaningful way.
“For a long time we’ve seen the potential for publishers to develop a lucrative jobs business through our technology and for our clients to reach new and important talent through their audiences. That potential is now a reality with powerful media brands seeing the monetary value and joining our partner network. We’re really excited to be able to bring WIRED’s amazing readership to the table,” he added.
Companies who want to advertise their roles can visit WIRED Hired and post their jobs, while talent can search and apply for the most relevant opportunities from the comfort of their favourite publication.
Featured jobs will appear in our daily newsletter, The Email from WIRED, which you can sign-up to using the box below.
