The Palace of Versailles has had a makeover at the hands of "hyperphoto" artist Jean-François Rauzier. The 59-year-old Parisian captures a location using "thousands of pictures of all of the possible points of view".
Having stitched the images together digitally, he then adds extras.
This picture is one of nine in his "Voyages Extraordinaires" series.
It comprises shots he took inside Versailles, which is now well known for exhibiting contemporary artists, some of whom he has inserted among the Old Masters.
