This bike's futuristic styling comes straight out of Japanese anime. Unlike a traditional bike with its foot-pedal-operated gear box, the NM4 doesn't have a clutch lever or shift pedal. Instead it has three modes of changing gear: automatic twist-and-go in D and S mode, plus a handlebar-trigger-operated manual MT mode. The 745cc twin-cylinder, 54hp engine is angled forwards to provide a low centre of gravity, and the flip-up pilion seat converts into a rider backrest. £9,666; honda.co.uk
