Google Play users can now share their movies, apps, books and games with up to six family members thanks to a handy update to the online store.
Family Library enables people to share content with loved ones across devices with no additional sign-up fee and everything in the Family Library will be available across Android devices, with iOS and the web limited to sharing just movies, TV shows and books.
Naturally, there will be things people don't want to share with every single member of their family, so users have to actively add content to the Family Library, keeping everything else just for themselves.
When signing up, users will be asked to select a credit card to share as the family payment method, though family members will also have the option to make purchases with their personal credit cards or gift cards.
In order to keep younger family members shielded from any unsuitable material, there will be an option for the adults to approve everything they buy.
For music fans, there's also the option to subscribe to the Google Play family plan, which enables up to six family members to stream millions of songs on demand for a monthly charge of £14.99.
Family Library is rolling out from today in the UK, US, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico and New Zealand.
New users can sign up on the web or on an Android device.
Music streaming service Spotify recently lowered the prices for its family plan to match Google Play Music and Apple Music at £14.99 a month.
