Fallout Monopoly launches alongside Fallout 4

As if Fallout 4 weren't going to eat up enough of your time come November, Bethesda has found a way to drag your entire family and friends circle into the nuclear wasteland -- Fallout is getting its own Monopoly spinoff.

The re-skinned version of the classic board game was announced at GameStop Expo in the US. The official Fallout Twitter feed soon backed it up, along with a shot of the key box art, featuring the series' iconic mascot, Vault Boy.

No exact release date for Fallout Monopoly was given, beyond November. However, Fallout 4 itself launches on 10 November, so it wouldn't be surprising to see the tabletop version accompany it.

Fallout Monopoly will be produced by USAopoly, which has already produced several Monopoly variants on the fast-dealing property trading game based on other gaming franchises. Halo, Pokemon, Mass Effect, and The Legend of Zelda are among the franchises to previously grace the board, along with alternates based on the likes of Game of Thrones, Doctor Who, and The Hobbit. Buying Mayfair on the traditional version seems a bit mundane now.

There's no word yet on UK availability, and USAopoly's other sets are distinctly marked as for the US and Canadian markets only. However, grey imports are a common sight in speciality stores such as Forbidden Planet, so the Fallout version shouldn't be too hard to find. The only question is how big a fight you'll get into with your friends over who gets to play as the inevitable Vault Boy marker.
