Catlateral Damage is a destructive cat simulator where you spend your time pushing your owner's belongings onto the floor in the manner of a real cat.
Catlateral Damage was originally created for the 7 Day FPS challenge in August 2013. Sidenote: you might remember other entries from the challenge included the stylish time-tweaking shooter Superhot and zombie shooter Shambles from Minecraft creator Notch.
Game designer Chris Chung doesn't actually ascribe the cat a motive, simply saying: "You're a cat. You break stuff. Simple as that." This leaves you free to role play the experience either as a lovable and playful pet, or a demonic furry jerk. It's essentially the game version of this cat GIF (GIF contains strong language -- you have been warned).
The game is currently still in the alpha stage but is free to play online if you fancy checking it out as well as being listed on Steam's Greenlight service with a view to gaining distribution through the service.
Future versions of Catlateral Damage should include more levels, a wider variety of objects to shove, a Cat Ops stealth mode. "more than zero music" and Oculus Rift support.
