Summer is arriving early for Xbox One owners. From now until May 19, Amazon has a bunch of Xbox One digital games on sale for up to 75 percent off. If you haven't bought a new game in a while, this week is a good time to consider it. Some popular franchises are missing, like Halo and Gears of War, but a lot of fantastic titles are on major discount.

Standout Xbox One Games on Sale

These three games are extra interesting to us for different reasons, but are all worth a closer look if you haven't considered playing them yet.

  • A Way Out for $20 (Was $30): Worth checking out! It's an adventure game where you escape from prison with another player via online co-op. Your friend can play for free as long as one person owns the game.

  • Resident Evil 7 for $22 (Was $60): Great Resident Evil title that gets back to the core of what made the series popular. This is also a game that supports Xbox Play Anywhere, which means it's playable on any Windows PC as well.

  • Rise of the Tomb Raider for $20 (Was $60): Lara Croft has a tough life. Sometimes it seems like every cliff she stands on in this game breaks, but it's still a fantastic intro into the new era of the Tomb Raider series.
