Google’s hardware empire has spread into several tech categories, and the biggest shopping event of the year means tasty discounts on everything from Google Home speakers and Pixel phones to Nest cameras. These are the very best Cyber Monday deals on Google devices we have been able to find - all of which are still live - and they come from a wide range of retailers, including Amazon, John Lewis, Currys, and Google itself.

A cheap way to bring some streaming smarts to your TV, the Chromecast plugs directly into an HDMI port. What we really like about it is the ability to stream content from your smartphone, whether it’s an Android device or an iPhone, though your options are a bit more limited on the latter. You can stream directly from many apps or mirror your laptop screen using the Chrome browser.
This streaming device improves on the basic Chromecast by adding a wee remote control with voice search capability, support for 4K and HDR, and Google TV. With Google TV, you can browse and track content from multiple streaming services. Google has also added support for its Stadia game streaming service to this device—and, as a final sweetener, you can use it to control smart home devices.
Stylish and feature-packed, the Fitbit Versa 3 is the best Fitbit for most people. It boasts a bright and vibrant 1.5-inch display, a battery that lasts up to 6 days between charges, and excellent fitness and sleep tracking capabilities. It’s a durable, water-resistant smartwatch that’s very comfortable to wear. It also has a speaker and microphone for calls and voice assistant support in the shape of Alexa or Google Assistant.
Fitbit’s slightly pricier Charge tracker and Versa smartwatch ranges get a ton of attention but, for those who don’t want to spend more than £100 on the latest fitness band, there’s the Inspire 2. Despite its current sub-£60 price, you get 24/7 heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, Fitbit’s Active Zone Minutes and up to 10 days of battery life.
The Charge 5 is Fitbit’s top activity tracker, getting your workouts analysed without trying to bring a ton of fancy smartwatch features with it. Along with useful water resistance and up to 7 days of battery life, you get a built-in GPS, a daily readiness score, automatic activity tracking and 20 exercise modes to take your pick from.
At first glance, the Sense is identical to the Versa 3, but this smartwatch adds a touch of luxury with a stainless steel case rather than aluminium. The Sense also boasts an ECG sensor (US only for now), SpO2 sensor to measure blood oxygen levels, and temperature sensor, all of which give a clearer picture of your sleep quality and stress levels, though you will need a Fitbit Premium subscription to take full advantage.
Although there is a newer model, the Fitbit Charge 4 is still a great pick if you need a fine fitness tracker. It is especially tempting for frequent swimmers, as it offers water resistance up to 50 metres, a full week’s battery life, and a responsive screen. It’s not bad on land either, with heart-rate tracking and GPS onboard.

It also packs plenty of power, an excellent touchscreen display, a satisfying keyboard, and a sensitive glass trackpad. Throw in long battery life, and you have a compelling package if you work with Google’s suite of apps. This is the Core i5 model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 16GB of RAM model is also on sale at £799 (£150 off).
If you’re in the market for wireless earbuds and already plugged into Google’s ecosystem, then the Pixel Buds could be for you. The sound quality is reasonably good, Android integration is excellent, and Google Assistant is on board.
John Lewis, Google Store, Currys
The latest Nest Cam is a battery-powered security camera that is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. It works seamlessly with the Google Home app and offers Full HD footage at 30 frames-per-second (fps) with support for HDR (which helps prevent blown-out or overly dark areas in your videos). There’s also good night vision, two-way audio, motion detection, and on-device machine learning. You can jump into the live view 24/7, but you only get three hours of recorded events unless you subscribe to Nest Aware from £5 a month.
This Google security camera is a quick and simple way to give you peace of mind inside your home. It’s made to accommodate all homely scenarios with 1080p video for detailed picture quality and Night Vision for later on in the day. You can take a peek at the video feed from your phone at any time and there’s no complicated installation here—just “plug-and-go” as Google calls it.
The Nest Hello claimed the top spot in our best video doorbells guide, and the Nest Doorbell (wired) is its successor. The design is a little different, but you still get excellent quality footage at 1,600 x 1,200 pixels, 30fps, and HDR support. The catch is that you really need a Nest Aware subscription, which starts from £5 a month and adds 30-day event history, people and package detection, and face detection.
No need to worry about wiring with the battery-powered Nest Doorbell, though you will have to charge it up every few months. The newest Nest Doorbell works through the Google Home app, offers a portrait view at 960 x 1,280, and is slightly slower than the wired version. However, you do get three hours of video recordings as standard. You must add a Nest Aware subscription, from £5 a month, for cloud storage and face detection.
The Google Nest Hub Max (8/10 WIRED Recommends) is a fantastic hub for your smart home that offers a 10-inch touchscreen, 10W stereo speakers, and a 6.5MP front-facing camera. It integrates beautifully with Google’s devices, but there’s support for a wide range of security cameras and other smart home devices. You can use this smart display as a speaker, watch videos on it, make video calls, check camera feeds, and more. We particularly like the option to set up a slideshow from your Google Photos account.
If you’re in the market for a new Google Pixel 6 (9/10 WIRED Recommends), consider buying from Currys, and you can get a Nest Hub 2nd Gen, along with it for free. This smart display has a 7-inch touchscreen that can play video, a decent speaker for music or podcasts, and serves as a smart home control hub with Google Assistant inside.
If you want to call on Google Assistant anywhere in your home, then you need a few smart speakers, and the Nest Mini is the cheapest way to kit out your house. While the sound quality is limited, as we pointed out in our review (7/10), the Mini does have a cute, unobtrusive design that blends in anywhere. While it’s not great for listening to music, it is an easy and effective way to chat with Google Assistant.
Earning a place in our best smart speakers guide, the Nest Audio is every bit as good as the Mini for chatting with Google Assistant, but it can also fill a room with music. The inoffensive fabric finish melts into the background, but the mid-range audio quality is impressive, making it an ideal speaker for polite volume levels, especially if you pair it with a partner.
Google’s unobtrusive router is simple to use and designed to keep itself updated and your home bathed in Wi-Fi. This particular model is also a smart speaker and a mesh system, so you can add additional points to improve your Wi-Fi coverage. The app is elegant and slick with great parental controls, but the lack of an option to split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands can cause problems with some smart-home devices, and you might have to switch your ISP provided router into bridge mode to get the best performance.
Designed to be straightforward and easy to set up, this Nest Wi-Fi bundle is a mesh system that includes a router and a point or satellite. It should cover up 210 square metres, but you can add additional points if you need to extend your Wi-Fi or boost the strength of the signal in a particular room. There’s no support for Wi-Fi 6, but each router and point doubles up as a smart speaker with Google Assistant inside.
One of the best budget phones from last year, the Pixel 4a took the flagship camera and software from the Pixel 4 and put it in a slightly less swanky package, with fewer bells and whistles (most notably no ‘face unlock’). But with better battery life and a headphone jack, some people will prefer the Pixel 4a—and it’s quite the bargain at this price. If you want a cheap phone or you’re shopping for a kid or parent, it could be a good pick.
The Google Pixel 6 (9/10 WIRED Recommends) is Google’s latest and greatest smartphone, and it sports an incredible camera, a slick display, and cutting-edge software smarts. The phone costs £599 unlocked, but iD Mobile is offering one for £20 upfront (using code iD10OFF) and then £27 a month for two years for unlimited calls, texts, and data (just scroll down and select the right contract before you check out). The drawback is that you’re locked into an iD Mobile contract for two years. The company uses the Three network, so check coverage in your area before you commit.
If you have snagged a new Pixel 6 phone, then you should really get a protective case for it. As a big, slippery phone with a protruding camera module, there’s a real risk of the Pixel 6 picking up scratches or cracks. OtterBox is one of the best in the biz when it comes to safeguarding that phone, and this clear case lets your chosen colour scheme shine through. It’s also available at the same price for the Pixel 6 Pro.
