The finest tech discounts the WIRED team has seen today, including Sonos speakers, Apple AirPods and Sony headphones.
Boxing Day deals: Just spotted
🎵 The **Sonos One**smart speaker is down £30 to £169 just about everywhere for the Boxing Day sales, including Amazon and Sonos. It's just the £20 off the Sonos Beam (£379) soundbar, in white.
🎧 Bose's QuietComfort noise cancelling earbuds are the best wireless earbuds you can buy full stop. Yes, better than the AirPods, better than the Sonys. And they're £20 off today, down to £230, in black.
⏲️ It's become the norm to be able to pick up a Google smart speaker for cheaper than even an Echo Dot. Here, the dinky, second-gen Google Home Mini is £20 off right now, down to £29 at Currys. Alexa is still better for beginners but if you're looking for more extended, info-requesting smart home chats, worth a look. Lenovo's Smart Clock Essential (now £30), with Google Assistant, also looks neat.
📱 Xiaomi has £34 off the 128GB model of its Poco X3 NFC (£195) Android phone on Amazon - the same price as the 64GB model on its own Mi store right now. And you get a hell of a lot of phone for under £200 with a big 5,160 mAh battery, an ultra-wide-angle camera, Snapdragon 732G and - ahem, Apple - a 33W fast charger in the box.
🎧 Even the XM4s - WIRED's top-rated headphones - are down £12 to £335 (depending on the colour). And the wireless, NC Sony WF-1000-XM3 (£146) in-ears are down a couple of quid cheaper than Black Friday too, again depending on the colour.
📺 WIRED's top-rated TV of 2020 - LG's 65OLEDCX - is down £200 to £2,299 at Currys. It's a stunning 4K OLED with exceptional picture quality and cutting-edge features. The 55OLEDCX is also down £300 to £1,299 at Currys.
What is it? Fitbit has a bunch of discounts on trackers and watches this week but the terrific Versa 3 is the best Fitbit for most people. What's the real saving? It's £41 off the RRP and a neat £20 off recent prices around the £179 mark. At £159, it's selling for about the same price as its Versa predecessor. Also check out the Fitbit Charge 4 (£116), the new health-focused Fitbit Sense (now £249) and the Ionic (£141), which is still the best Fitbit for runners.
