What is it? This bi-metal Omega Seamaster 300 was unveiled after the initial upgrades of the traditional line in 2014, and it's a testament to the design that it still looks new today. At 41mm it is not too large on the wrist, while a ceramic bezel and anti-magnetic automatic movement underneath a sand-blasted black dial with rhodium-plated hands round off an excellent package.

What's the real saving? This is a phenomenal saving of £1,180 and an excellent price for a stylish Seamaster, one that will still look as good in 10 years' time.

What is it? This Zenith El Primero 36,000vph features one of the greatest movements in watch history, and this deal is likely to be one of the best you will see for some time. The classic 42mm watch should serve you well for a lifetime and look as stylish as the day you bought the piece.

What's the real saving? This colossal saving of £1,300 is a 25% price drop on a watch from Zenith's El Primero 1969 range that really doesn't need to be discounted in order to sell. Almost too good to be true.

What is it? This stealthy Hamilton Khaki Field Auto is made from lightweight black PVD-coated titanium and features a simple, clear dial and a rubber strap. The three-hand movement with date has a power reserve of 80 hours, but what really marks the Khaki Field Auto out is that it is based on a model originally supplied to the US military in the 1940s. As such, this is a classic Hamilton design.

What's the real saving? This is a more than respectable saving of £122.25 for a piece that is military inspired, something that is very much on trend at the moment.

We could stop there, but if you need further convincing consider that this 44mm piece, aside from being slightly large, with a seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock, doesn't put a foot wrong in terms of styling, and even sports a chic Milanese bracelet.

What's the real saving? This is a prodigious saving of £1,320, which means this Montblanc is practically half price. Yes, half price.

What is it? We like the Victorinox INOX and have featured the super-rugged watch (which is tested by being run over by a tank) a few times over the years. This quartz-powered titanium model boats a strap made from paracord, which is extremely useful in many situations in the great outdoors. Speaking of which, the watch is water resistant to 200m.

What's the real saving? This is a saving of £97.35 so just off the £100 mark, which is more than appealing for a watch that will serve you well in all manner of tricky situations.
