£150 off HP Envy, now £1,000: The Envy range is the dark horse of the ultrabook market, sitting below HP’s flagship Spectre range. This model is supremely stylish in an all-silver design and sports strong productivity specs with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD and, even, a Nvidia MX350 mobile graphics card to boot.

£20 off a Lenovo IdeaPad 3i, now £529: This laptop is the Intel-equivalent of one of WIRED Recommends top budget laptops, the Lenovo Ideapad 3. While the latter is a value champ, the Intel version comes with a significantly stronger processor as a higher yet reasonable price.

10 per cent off Asus X509 with code ASUS10, now £450: The Asus X509 offers a traditional Windows experience at a surprisingly low price. This model gives you a Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD, a combo that often requires spending upwards of £600. Currys’ discount code thoroughly outshines other retailers here, with the lower spec model costing the full £500 price over at Amazon.
£50 off Acer Chromebook Spin 13 CP713-2W, now £430: Acer is a prolific Chromebook manufacturer, often providing strong value and impressive entry-level performance.
