Amazon is gearing up for better weather with a Summer of Sports sale. What we’ve found this week is, in fact, decent deals on smartphones, headphones, smartwatches, gaming PC cases and a whole host of other discounted accessories.

You might not find Nike, Adidas and the like here but quality headphones from Jabra, cut-price flagship phones from Xiaomi and useful battery packs from Anker are all bits of tech that wouldn’t go amiss on runs, hikes, long walks. And hey, you can watch sports on the Asus monitor we’ve picked out. That’s our explanation and we’re sticking to it. Enjoy these “sporty” deals.

It's Prime Day 2023, so we've uncovered the top discounts. Check out the best Prime Day deals in the UK here.

Amazon Summer of Sports sale deals

£103 off Xiaomi Mi 10 128GB, now £424: Flagship phones are expensive but a clever way to get one in your pocket is to look to last year. The Mi 10 was released in 2020 and, even, has a quality successor in the Xiaomi Mi 11 (£600) but the passing time means you can get the older model at a reduced price – alongside this sale’s added discount. The Mi 10 features 128GB storage, a 6.81in AMOLED 90Hz display and Snapdragon 865 processor.

£69 off Corsair Carbide Series 678C ATX gaming PC case, now £111: Whether you’re building a PC for fun or to save a bit of cash, getting the right case is pivotal – while a decent discount is welcome too. This simple and sleek case offers extensive sound damping on the inside to keep noise low along with space for your choice of radiators and fans. With dimensions of 54.9 x 23.9 x 49.7cm, this case won’t take over your bedroom or office either.

£15 off Asus VP228DE 21.5in 1080p monitor, now £85: While this monitor may not be one for those taken by the gaming PC case above, it’s a solid pick in the current age of WFH. At under £90, you get a 1080p resolution in a decently sized 21.5in form factor and a 100,000,000:1 contrast ratio. This monitor is also TUV Rheinland-certified and features Asus Flicker Free and Low Blue Light tech – for easing the stress on your eyes during those long work sessions.

£46 off Oppo Watch smartwatch, now £183: If you’re looking for a smartwatch that looks a bit like a similar offering from a fruit-based company, and at a fraction of the price, Oppo has a strong contender here. Reduced to under £200 for the 41mm model, the Oppo Watch is a decent option for Android – with an AMOLED display, GPS, NFC and quick charge support. The overall design is understated and clean, with a stylish option of Pink, Black and Silver models.

£4 off Kensington Extra Wide Monitor Stand, now £17: Every decent WFH setup needs a decent monitor and a monitor stand to get that eye line just right. This monitor stand from Kensington is nothing fancy and is only down £3 but, at under £20, you can’t complain really. The stand supports monitors up to 32in and up to 20kg. There’s no faffing around either, with a one-step process to get it ready.

£30 off Beats Solo3 wireless headphones, now £152: Fan of the signature Beats look? These headphones are the latest from its popular Solo range and, expectedly, come in a selection of eye-catching colours – including Matt Gold, Pop Violet, Satin Gold and more. You get up to 40 hours of battery life and quick charging to give you 3 hours of playback from just 5 minutes of charge. There are comfort-cushioned ear cups too for a fatigue-free fit.

£7 off Anker PowerCore Essential 20000 PD power bank, now £30: Anker’s battery packs can be absolute lifesavers when you’re out and about – the PowerCore Essential is no different. With 20,000mAh onboard, you can charge you’re average mobile phone 3-4 times over. However, this model isn’t just about phones. There’s power delivery (PD) included, letting you charge supported laptops as well – making this a great all-encompassing device to get you out of a range of sticky situations.
