Want some fast fun? Farringdon-based games studio Hide &
Seek is creating a new type of smartphone game: one you don't play on your device. This autumn, it will release Tiny Games, an iOS app that contains the rules for hundreds of games to play in the real world. "It rethinks the role of your smartphone in playing a game," says Alex Fleetwood, Hide & Seek's director.
Locations include home, public transport, on a walk and in the pub, with each of those broken down into further categories - so there are hundreds of games.
Thankfully, says Fleetwood, "as a studio, we have an inexhaustible supply of tiny games." [Hide &
Seek](http://hideandseek.net/) hopes eventually to incorporate content from a range of sources such as SoundCloud and Flickr using APIs. "We hope there's a feeling of abundance and pertinence."
