Soft mouth. Extra mouth for sensitive bits. Two different suction modes. Comfy to hold. Bath-proof. Approachable price and functionality. Removable mouth also makes for easy cleaning. Super quiet.
TIRED
Vibration functionality is too weak to use as just a vibrator, and is too loud and buzzy. Body is a little rigid.

A good sex toy should feel like an extension of your body. When you’re using it, you shouldn’t have to think about where the buttons are or how you’re holding it. It should just feel natural, intuitive. When you have to think about the buttons—or even worse, actually stop using the toy to have a second look at its controls—it takes you out of the moment. This is where the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 really shines. It gets out of your way.

The Suck-tual Revolution

Most of us are familiar with vibrators, but suction toys are a whole different species of sex toy. If you’re unfamiliar, these are toys that use internal motors to move an internal diaphragm back and forth, which creates a pulsing suction sensation when pressed against your body—like puffing your cheeks in and out really fast.

Suction toys, or air pulse toys as they’re also called, provide intense but indirect stimulation to concentrated erogenous zones. They’re typically designed with the clitoris in mind, but don’t overlook other erogenous zones, like nipples or the frenulum of a penis. They work great on those too.

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3 is the fifth iteration on a classic air pulse toy design, and it really shows. It’s a toy with a very thoughtful and intuitive design. Every part of it feels intentional and fine-tuned. For instance, the mouth part that presses against your body is a very silky soft silicone, and it’s removable for easy cleaning.

The shape of the toy’s body is tapered in the middle and it’s a bit longer than other toys in this category, but that means it’s very easy to hold from a variety of positions and easily reaches your genital area. This last part is great for solo use because, honestly, when you’re masturbating, do you really want to have to contort in order for a toy to reach where it needs to go? No, you just want to lean back and relax.

Even the button placement is spot-on. Each one is ridged differently so you can feel which button is which without having to look, and you don’t have to press too hard on them. It’s really easy to adjust the air pulse intensity and pattern on the fly.

Plus, it’s very quiet. Under the blankets you can barely hear it when it’s on, even at its higher intensities. That’s amazing, because some of these toys sound like tiny jet engines.

In addition to providing suction/air pulse stimulation, the Pro 2 Gen 3 also provides vibration, but in my experience it’s best to leave that feature off. It’s a buzzy vibration, not a rumbly one, so it’s a little intense and only on the surface. The noise ruins the chill vibes the Pro 2 Gen 3 has in just regular old suction mode.

Speaking of, you can toggle the suction action on the Pro 2 Gen 3 to be powerful or gentle depending on your preference, and it does a great job at simulating the sucking sensation of oral sex. It comes with an alternative silicone mouth that can provide a more tactile oral sex sensation as well. The Liquid Air attachment is a mouth that has a thin silicone membrane over it which takes the sucking-tapping sensation you get from the mouth and turns it into more of a sucking-licking sensation that’s unlike anything I’ve ever tried. It’s really cool, and feels like you get two toys for the price of one.

Approachable, Affordable, Amazing

The thing that really excites me about the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3, though? Its price tag. Good sex toys are expensive. Our best-of list has several toys that are in the $200 to $300 range. They’re definitely worth it, but those price tags can be prohibitive, especially if you’re just figuring out what you like and what you want to buy.

The Pro 2 Gen 3 is only $50, or $60 if you want to spring for the Bluetooth-enabled version with remote control capability. It’s so low, I had to keep checking that it wasn’t a mistake or that I was looking at the right toy.

It’s affordable and approachable, but fully-featured and refined enough that it can perform as well as or better than toys that are three or four times its price. If you’re even a little bit curious about air pulse toys, you can’t go wrong with the Satisfyer Pro 2 Gen 3.
