Top Stories in September: Infinite Loop and Beyond

An Apple story a day keeps readers clicking away.

In September, Apple revealed its latest slate of iPhones, an upgraded watch, and an updated operating system, but our readers were more delighted with a story that looked back at the company instead of toward its new devices. Longtime WIRED writer Steven Levy compiled a comprehensive oral history of Apple's Infinite Loop offices, a campus where the company charted its comeback. As Levy wrote, "Infinite Loop was the place where Apple’s leaders and engineers pulled off a historic turnaround, and it will always be the source of stories and legends—many of them untold. Until now." Apple employees ranging from senior vice president of the iPod division Tony Fadell to present day CEO Tim Cook, plus many more, all recounted memories and anecdotes that any Apple aficionado would be hungry to learn.
