Steve Fletcher

Steve Fletcher is the director of the Revolution Plastics Institute and professor of ocean policy and economy at the University of Portsmouth, UK. He is a member of the UN International Resource Panel and a NERC Agenda Setting Fellow for plastic pollution. He has worked extensively with the UN family of ocean and biodiversity conventions, governments, agencies, businesses, universities, and a wider network of international conservation organizations. His research interests include sustainability transitions, marine conservation, and policy responses to plastic pollution
