Scott Thurm is WIRED’s business editor. He is based in San Francisco and oversees coverage of technology companies and their impact on society. Prior to joining WIRED, Thurm was a reporter and editor for The Wall Street Journal and the San Jose Mercury News. He is a two-time winner of the Gerald Loeb Award for distinguished business reporting and was part of a team that won a Pulitzer Prize at The Louisville, Kentucky, Courier-Journal. He is a graduate of Tufts University and lives in Los Altos, California, with his wife and children.
