Before that, he was the tech editor at Paste Magazine, and his freelance writing has been featured in publications like The Oregonian and IGN. When he's not overthinking what the best laptop is, he’s busy wrangling his two kids with his wife in Portland, Oregon. In his free time, you'll find him playing overly complicated designer board games and making nostalgic synthwave music.
