Helen Thomson is a writer and author with a BSc in neuroscience from the University of Bristol and an MSc in science communication from Imperial College London. She has worked as a journalist and editor at New Scientist, and has written for the BBC, The New York Times, Nature, and The Guardian, among others. Her first book, Unthinkable: An Extraordinary Journey Through the World’s Strangest Brains, was an Amazon bestseller and NIH 2019 Big Read, as well as The Times of London’s Science Book of the Year.
