Christopher Moran is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Montana’s Fire Center and the director of fire science at Pyrologix, a wildfire threat assessment research firm. His research focuses on spatial analysis of lidar data for vegetation as well as fuel characterization and classification. He also assists in the development of UAV research methods.
