WIRED Has a New Home on Snapchat Discover

Weekly editions will feature the best of the magazine, the website, video—and exclusive content just for Snapchat

In the first edition of WIRED, founding editor Louis Rosetto laid out a challenge to his writers: "Tell us something we've never heard before, in a way we've never seen before." Over the last quarter-century, WIRED has eagerly accepted that challenge, exploring and experimenting with new formats and new ways of delivering our award-winning journalism. We had a website back in the early 1990s, and helped invent the banner ad. (Sorry about that.) We helped define the magazine experience on the iPad, and have built huge followings on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube. Hell, we even set up shop in SecondLife, when that was a thing.

Now, we are honored and excited to have found a new home on Snapchat Discover. Every Thursday, you’ll find a new edition of WIRED, packed with everything you expect—breaking news, stunning design, smart analysis, conceptual breakthroughs, engaging videos—as well as plenty of new surprises, just for our Snapchat subscribers. We always hear about dedicated WIRED fans who still remember picking up their first issue when they were in high school or college and were inspired to change the world.
