If your holiday celebrations need a little more chest-bursting excitement, we have good news: The very gory (and very intriguing) NSFW first trailer for Ridley Scott's *Alien: Covenant *arrived. It promises a post-Prometheus return to the franchise's action-horror roots, with gung-ho troopers, spooky corridors, and, of course, gnarly xenomorphs.
Directed by Scott—and featuring an ensemble cast of Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, and Billy Crudup—the latest Alien film follows a group of colonists who land on an idyllic planet, only to discover they're not alone.
We'll see how quickly things get "game over, man!" when *Alien: Covenant *opens next May.
