So, did you do anything fun this weekend? Go see a movie, maybe? Rogue One: A Star Wars Story finally hit theaters last week, and as expected, had a pretty great opening weekend. But now that everyone knows that we're not going to see Rogue Two anytime soon, where does the franchise go from here? Onward and upward, of course! The Star Wars universe is ever-expanding and the release of Rogue One only means fans now have to shift their attention to all the other Star Wars films in the works. Here are some hints of what's to come, courtesy of all the news, rumors, and other tidbits floating around online over the last couple weeks.

Probability of Accuracy: Well, it was on TV, so that kind of makes it real?
The Real Deal: Now that Rogue One is finally out in the world, it's safe to reveal the working title for the movie. (Fun fact: Return of the Jedi was called Blue Harvest to throw people off the scent when it was filming.) Well, composer Michael Giacchino revealed to Time that *Rogue One'*s alternate title was Los Alamos—a secret almost given away on The Late Show when Dermot Mulroney was a guest, talking to Stephen Colbert about his upcoming musical gigs. (Other fun fact: Besides acting, Mulroney also plays cello in Giacchino's orchestra.) "He says 'next week, I’m starting on the film,' and he blurts out the code word when he had no idea it was a Star Wars movie!" Giacchino says. Quick, Star Wars obsessives—go hunt down that episode of The Late Show!

The fact that "the bulk of the scoring" will take place months from now might make it odd that he was doing any work last week at all... until you factor in the possibility that the music he was recording might have been needed for a trailer. The movie is out in less than a year; isn't it odd that we haven't had a teaser by this point? (Then again, *Rogue One'*s first teaser didn't appear until April, and Lucasfilm honcho Kathleen Kennedy says it's coming in spring, so perhaps not.)

Probability of Accuracy: It's Adam Driver's opinion, so it's as right as opinions can be.
The Real Deal: Not everyone is looking forward to an Episode VIII teaser, however. Adam Driver told Cinema Blend that he'd actually prefer it if there weren't any trailers for the next movie. "I think that’d be bold. I’d love it, yeah," he said. "Then no one would know anything. The less people know, I feel like, the more exciting—the more of an event it is." Which, sure, would be true, but then what would we all speculate about?

Probability of Accuracy: It's an online rumor, so take it with a grain of salt. But it's such an unexpected one that there has to be some truth to it, otherwise why even make it up?
The Real Deal: According to a report on the Making Star Wars site, Supreme Leader Snoke will play a part in Episode VIII, but he won't be a CGI character like he was in Force Awakens. Instead, the site says, "he will be a huge puppet around seven to eight feet tall, taking several people to operate and a man inside a suit to make him walk." The site goes on to suggest that the final version of the character will be a mix of puppet and augmented CGI features, but either way, this sounds like a strange idea for the next movie. Sure, we all loved Yoda back in the day, but will this really convince modern audiences?
