Trump has made closing America's borders by building an enormous wall along the border with Mexico a keystone of his campaign. He has wasted no opportunity to disparage Mexican immigrants as criminals, drug dealers, rapists, and more. He and his supporters say immigrants cheat on taxes, steal jobs, and do no end of harm to the nation.
