Stop us if you've heard this one before: An animated movie in which group of anthropomorphized objects goes on a journey of self-discovery and friendship. Toy Story, Inside Out, Cars—this is a staple of Pixar movies. What happens, though, if you take that formula, subtract Pixar, add the current kings of stoner comedy, and give it a hard-R rating? You'd get Sausage Party, a raunchy CGI trifle that might not be great, but will likely be a dorm-room staple for years to come.
