*Rogue One'*s New TV Ad Just Makes Us Thirsty For a Real Trailer

Sure, it's nice to see—but it's also got exactly zero new footage.

Do you staunchly avoid film trailers in theaters and online, but still watch television commercials like your Tivo thumb is broken? Then boy, does Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have something for you! There’s a 30-second television spot online, and while it's technically new, it features exactly zero new footage. Literally every shot appeared in the teaser trailer from a few months ago. The actual trailer made its debut at Star Wars Celebration in mid-July, and was supposedly going to air during the behind-the-scenes documentary about The Force Awakens that aired that weekend on ABC—but that didn’t happen. So until we get the real thing (maybe in front of Disney's Pete’s Dragon, out on August 12?), we’ll just keep replaying this 30-second clip. And desperately trying to figure out how Edrio Two Tubes plays into all of this.
