Ah, the holidays. A time of family and togetherness and more shopping than anyone should be subjected to. It is also, for us culture addicts, a time of serious binge-ing. Binge-eating, yes, but also serious binge-watching/reading/listening. It’s that time of year when we catch up on everything we missed over the last eleven months.
So on this week’s episode of The Monitor we’re going deep on all the media we plowed through during the four-day Thanksgiving weekend. Like, for example, Creed, which totally knocked us out at the multiplex. (See what we did there?) There was also Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur, which was our go-to “bring the kiddies” movie, and Jessica Jones, which we’re pretty much just going to be watching and re-watching forever.
And that’s just the beginning of the long list of things we stuffed ourselves with over the holiday weekend. To find out more of our Thanksgiving media diet, tune in above. Editors and contributors Peter Rubin, K.M. McFarland, Angela Watercutter, and Charley Locke are all here and finally over their turkey hangovers, so settle in; we’ve got some holiday spirit to get into.
