If you travel a lot, you plan your trip thoroughly: where you're staying, how you're getting to the airport, which shirt you're going to wear for the night out with your colleagues. But you probably don't think enough about those three, six, 15 hours you're about to spend sitting in a tiny seat in a huge metal contraption flying through the sky. So you show up late, with dead batteries, in your pajamas, and oh crap you forgot to download the app you wanted to use. Enjoy your non-reclining middle seat next to the bathroom!
You can do better. Next time you head to the airport, make sure you have the right gear. You'll get through security faster and to the plane a lot more comfortably. You'll get more work done, sleep better, or churn through your to-watch list of crappy adventure movies. Or you'll just get drunk the classy way.
Flying well is all about finding the perfect mix of efficiency and distraction. Here's how you get there.
