Sometimes trolling is important work. Case in point: today's hero, Jason Feifer, who trolled the New York Times Science Desk last week with a very important request for a correction regarding what, exactly, constitutes a selfie.

Words have meanings, y'all, and if we don't protect those definitions we could end up in a world where NOTHING MEANS ANYTHING AT ALL. The New York Times seems to appreciate this and today published the seminal Selfie Definition For Our Time, curtesy of said troller. Bravo, everyone involved.
But I gotta say, I still think there's a gray area if I take a photo of my telepresence robot. It may not be my flesh and blood, but it's a digital extension of my physical self.
