But while neither The Simpsons nor The Wire count S3 among their best, it turns out that they go together just about perfectly (especially the episode "Homer at the Bat"). Or so one enterprising fan discovered with this mashup that re-cuts Simpsons moments into a new Wire-style opening sequence—complete with a font that David Simon would love, Bohemian Typewriter.
