Want to feel old? Other than the fact the two drinks now gives you a hangover and you don't know the difference between trap and moombahton, we mean. Try this one: the Beastie Boys' Paul's Boutique turns 26 tomorrow. And while we know the trio's sophomore album as their first step away from label-encouraged frat rap and toward the experimentation that marked the rest of their careers, it's truly celebrated for the Dust Brothers' sample-choked production. Hundreds of sample went into the making of the album; most of them have by now been chronicled on various websites and reconstruction projects. Today, though, Seattle radio station KEXP is devoting the entire day to the album—from sample tracks to interviews to the album tracks themselves. (As we were writing this paragraph, the stream went from Pato Banton's "Don't Sniff Coke" to the Beatles' "Back in the USSR" to BDP's "My Philosophy.") The stream is below, or head over to KEXP's live player to tune in—and maybe even shake your rump. (Gettin' rope, y'all!)
