Now that, according to director Paul Feig's very-active Twitter feed, the all-female Ghostbusters movie is in full swing, attention has now shifted back to whether the rumored Ghostbusters-with-men will be happening as well. Apparently, yes. (Score one for the dudes!) Speaking with MTV News at the New York premiere of Mission: Impossible — Rogue Nation, screenwriter Drew Pearce said the movie is in the works, although it's very early on. Pearce just recently finished his work on the script and told MTV that "there's a gigantic bold idea" in there that brothers Anthony and Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier) are going to work with Ivan Reitman to flesh out. Pearce also noted his version of events would tie in with other Ghostbusters of the past and future. But who will be donning the proton packs in his dream world? Chris Pratt and Channing Tatum have been mentioned in regards to the movie before and Pearce told MTV that is the "cast we’ve been thinking about" even though no one is locked in yet. “Whether that happens or not is very much above my pay grade,” Pearce said. “It’s just my job to give them something exciting that maybe they’ll do.” Exciting indeed.
