Maybe it's ironic commentary on the awful state of the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight: a mod that lets you traipse through the game's glitchy, chug-a-lug vistas as a DC superhero or villain other than Bats himself.
You'll need a copy of the PC version, of course, which poses a problem if you didn't snag one before publisher Warner Bros. yanked the game from digital and physical store shelves last week.
Assuming you did, the mod lets you poke around Gotham in free-roam mode as any of the following characters: Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Robin, Azrael, Bruce Wayne, Catwoman, Commissioner Gordon, Joker and Gotham City Police Department's Officer Owens. Instructions on how to do so are in the video's description. You can apparently switch between characters in real time by tapping the keyboard's function keys.
The PC version of Arkham Knight emerged with serious performance problems last week, prompting Warner Bros. to suspend sales and issue multiple promises to fix the game as soon as possible. A preliminary patch arrived this weekend, but the game's Steam listing indicates Warner Bros. won't re-release it until sometime this fall.
