Spoilers for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. follow.
Last night was the season finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. so naturally everything came to a crashing conclusion. Skye (Chloe Bennet) learned the truth about her mom, Jiaying (Dichen Lachman). (Basically, she's a liar out to ruin S.H.I.E.L.D. and she sucks the life out of people.) Skye also reunited with Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) and joined his new Inhumans initiative. Ward (Brett Dalton) accidentally killed Agent 33 (Maya Stojan), set a trap that injured Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki), and stayed firmly on his turncoat path. Oh, and Fitz (Ian De Caestecker) and Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) maybe finally decided to go on a date and then Simmons got swallowed by a Kree artifact. (D'oh!) But the move that will change everything forever for Coulson is the one above, in which he saved Mack (Henry Simmons) and himself by catching a Terrigen Crystal before it shattered. As soon as it was secured, Mack took an axe to Coulson's forearm, thus stopping the spread of the crystal's destruction. Coulson lost half an arm, but he was spared the Marvel universe's version of Greyscale and he got to be a Star Wars inside joke all in one scene. So that's not so bad.
