As you may have heard, Microsoft is planning a massive re-organization and readying pink slips for thousands of employees. The layoffs look to be mostly centered around the Nokia smartphone division and corporate middle management, so what does the news mean for consumers? Mat and Mike have some theories. Hint: big changes for mobile phones. Smaller changes are happening within the apps for a few social sites we like, namely Facebook, Twitter and Secret. Another change: Mike's new favorite podcast client is Overcast for iOS, and he tells us about it. At the end of the show, Mat muses on Thread, the new proposed standard for connected home devices that'll finally---finally---get your toaster and your television talking to one another. Hallelujah amirite?
