1. Razer Junglecat
Best For: Style-conscious gamers with a taste for retro game ports.
Even after you slip your iPhone into the Junglecat, it’ll be small enough to fit into your pocket—perfect for sneaking in a little Final Fantasy III under the table during meetings. The buttons and triggers have a clicky, high grade feel, and the slide-down control pad has a satisfyingly stretchy resistance. Keep your nails long, though; it’s nearly impossible for your fingertips to reach the iPhone’s volume buttons or mute switch while the case is on.

2. Moga Ace Power
Best For: GTA addicts and annoying children on extended car rides.
With 11 gameplay buttons, including a D-pad and two analog sticks, this is basically an Xbox controller for your iPhone. It even has four shoulder buttons, but good luck finding an iOS game that makes use of them. The thumbsticks are roughly the same quality as those found on the Nintendo 3DS—in other words, you’ll wish they worked better than they do—and pop- ping your iPhone in and out of the device can be a hassle. Still, it’s worth it for the extended fragging time the controller’s internal battery provides.
