Some weeks have an indie-rock feel, some feel a little more like ambient electronica. Given the blistering heat that swept through the Bay Area these last few days, we couldn't help but start dreaming of summer barbecues—which of course means that hip-hop is even better represented than usual. A new Mac Miller mixtape, the return of Dipset, and new material from Shabazz Palaces take us from hazy to crazy, with a stunning new M.I.A. track to round things out.
