We love remixes. We love mashups. We love one-offs. We basically love any situation in which artists collaborate, commingle, and otherwise combine their musical DNA to give us something that's greater than the sum of its parts. And there's plenty of that this week, from Andre 3000 jumping on Future's debut album for an all-too-rare appearance to Portishead's Beth Gibbons joining forces with metal band Gonga for a cover of Black Sabbath's "Black Sabbath" (which they're calling "Black Sabbeth"). It's not all group efforts, though; we've also got new music from Jack White, Little Dragon, and even a new Twin Shadow song that's so perfectly ’80s-power-ballad that we can't tell if we love it or hate it.
