The third season of Game of Thrones was a doozy when it came to deaths, killing off some of the show's most beloved characters in fairly gruesome ways. If you're still feeling a little bit traumatized by the Red Wedding, perhaps this supercut of all the deaths in the first three seasons of the show—set to "Put on a Happy Face"—will turn that frown upside down!
Just kidding, it'll probably upset you even more. But with the Season 4 premiere coming on Sunday, it's time to put on your big boy or girl pants and get ready; the world of Westeros is not for the faint of heart and there's no reason to think the next season will be any nicer.
Check out the supercut above. (Spoilers, obviously.) It's pretty gnarly, and contains more than 5,000 killings. "We can only hope," the YouTube description says, "this is instrumental in convicting George R. R. Martin, our generation's most beloved mass-murderer."
