The unstoppable Peanuts licensing machine rolled on today with the release of the first teaser for the upcoming 3-D animated movie based on the classic comic strip.
Set to open next year, Peanuts will introduce Charlie Brown and the gang to a whole new generation, as well as provide a gold mine of fodder for the nostalgia and/or nerdrage of those of us raised on Peanuts holiday specials and MetLife ads. This latest flick will also mark the fifth time Snoopy and company find themselves on the big screen — the first Peanuts feature film, A Boy Named Charlie Brown, was released in 1969 — but the first since cartoonist Charles Schulz's death in 2000.
