Review: Apple iPad Air

The iPad Air features an impressively slender form factor and, thanks largely to its A7 processor and optimizations in iOS 7, it still manages to perform twice as fast and deliver just as much battery life as its predecessor.

WIRED
Incredibly lightweight with a super-slim, redesigned form factor. A7 chip, in addition to helping provide an impressive 10-plus hours of battery life, offers superb overall performance whether you're surfing the web or streaming media. 9.7-inch, 2048 x 1536 Retina screen displays rich, vivid colors with incredibly clarity. Slightly smaller size and lighter weight make it a lot easier to wield one-handed.
TIRED
No TouchID, just a regular old home button. Despite upgrading to stereo speakers -- audio separation remains poor. 5-megapixel rear-facing shooter could use an update.
