Jamie Lee Curtis may be the "scream queen" but that doesn't mean other actresses don't try their best to shriek at her level. For horror flick The Conjuring, out today on DVD, actress Lili Taylor actually practiced her horror yell in order to get just the right bloodcurdling sound. "You know, having the internet can be great. And scary," Taylor told WIRED. "You put in 'how do you scream?' And [the results] all brought me to this woman who teaches you how to scream, so I got her CDs and DVDs." Beyond that the actress, soon to be appearing in the TV series Almost Human, also did vocal exercises in order to prep her wails for director James Wan's haunted-house flick. "It was almost like a marathon and an opera," she said.
