Review: Lensbaby Pro Effects Kit

The $750 Lensbaby Pro Effects Kit comes with two selective-focus optics, two macro converters, and a carrying case. It's a lot of money to spend on something that should probably be used sparingly.

WIRED
Considerably less expensive than a traditional tilt shift lens. Surprisingly sharp glass. Fun to use in the right picture-making situation.
TIRED
Optic swapping system needs a redesign. Sweet 35 optic is hard to focus. Tilt-shift photos can quickly become cliché.
