A Portuguese domain-name broker won the royal baby internet sweepstakes Wednesday, scooping up the web address GeorgeAlexanderLouis.com moments after Prince William and Kate announced the name of their newborn.

Reached by phone, Luc-Andre Biggs of Key Domains declined to say why he grabbed the address named for George Alexander Louis, also known as His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge. "Why do you want to know?" said Biggs. But the domain sales site Sedo.com shows that Key Domains already has nearly 3,000 domains up for for sale.
